چکیده
Background: Myonectin (CTRP15) is a newly discovered myokine with important metabolic functions. It was shown that circulating myonectin levels decreased in obesity. Objectives: The present study investigated the effect of 8 weeks progressive resistance training (PRT) on serum rats following high-fat diet plus sucrose solution. Methods: A total 32 male Wistar were randomly divided into (HFDS) and standard (SD) groups. After 12 weeks, each group sedentary animals groups subjected to PRT program (3 days/week, for weeks). Flexor hallucis longus (FHL) gastrocnemius muscle weights, epididymal retroperitoneal fat glucose, insulin, myonectin, homeostasis model assessment insulin (HOMA-IR) measured this study. Results: results revealed HFDS increased weight gain, weight, HOMA-IR weights levels. Eight FHL weight. Conclusions: suggest may be an efficient intervention enhance levels, which associated improvement body composition.

Effect of Resistance Training with Two Different Volumes on Serum Myonectin Levels in Rats Fed with Sucrose Solution
Background. Moyenctin, is a new identified myokine and belongs to the CTRPs family which plays role in lipid and glucose metabolism. There is limited information available regarding the effects of exercise training on serum myonectin levels. Objectives. he aim of this study was to investigate the effects of sucrose solution intake and resistance training (RT) with two different volumes on seru...
متن کاملEndothelial and vascular dysfunctions and insulin resistance in rats fed a high-fat, high-sucrose diet.
This study was designed to examine the effects of a high-fat, high-sucrose (HFHS) diet on vascular and metabolic actions of insulin. Male rats were randomized to receive an HFHS or regular chow diet for 4 wk. In a first series of experiments, the rats had pulsed Doppler flow probes and intravascular catheters implanted to measure blood pressure, heart rate, and regional blood flows. Insulin sen...
متن کاملEffects of Endurance Training and Isocaloric High Intensity Interval Training on Anthropometric Indices and Insulin Resistance in High Fat Diet-Fed Wistar Rats
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives: Obesity is a global health problem that could lead to cardiovascular disease, diabetes and cancer. Polygenic obesity is caused by multiple factors, such as lack of exercise and excess food intake. In this study, we evaluated effects of 12 weeks of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and isocratic moderate-intensity training (MIT) on anthropometric indice...
متن کاملAnti-oxidant and anti-hyperlipidemic activity of Hemidesmus indicus in rats fed with high-fat diet
Objective: Dietary changes playmajor risk roles in oxidative stress andcardiovascular disease and modulate normal metabolic function. The present study was designed to investigate the ameliorative potential of different extracts of Hemidesmus indicus to experimental high-fat diet in wistar rats, and their possible mechanism of action. Materials and Methods: Male wistar rats were divided into 6...
